We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our PM team at PCE. As a Project Manager, you will work directly with the Project Director and wider teams to deliver PCE's projects, working effectively and collaboratively with our client, supply chain and construction teams.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery of project(s) assigned to, ensuring that they run in line with PCE's Delivery strategy. Leading and mentoring all members of the project team to ensure that delivery is safe, on time, risk free, and delivered to an exceptional standard.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Reports to: Project Director

Location

This role requires the ability to travel and stay away from home. You will be predominantly based on site whilst on project and will be required to attend Head Office when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Providing effective and clear communication of the overall objective of the project to all members of the PCE team.
* Establishing clear lines of communication including good project monitoring and reporting.
* Liaising and interacting/ communicating with the project stakeholders. Develop good, long-lasting relationships.
* Managing and guiding the PCE project team inclusive of, establishing and communication of personal goals, objectives and principles for the safe and successful delivery of the project and for the development of the individual.
* Support, mentor and liaise with all other project managers in the team, where necessary or required.
* Leading and attending key stage project reviews and weekly project meeting with the PCE team through all phases of the project:
* Design
* Procurement
* Construction
* Commercial
* Project Debriefs
* Establishing and implementing PCE's overall strategy for the successful delivery of the project with the Project Director.
* Reporting and liaising with the Project Director and PCE Board on project status, key issues and performance objectives, weekly and monthly at directors meeting.
* Progress and programme monitoring/ establishment of the programme, inclusive of milestones, short term programmes, programme logic and critical interdependencies.
* Establishing, identifying and implementing project specific processes for monitoring performance, productivity and quality throughout each phase of the project.
* Ensure all protocols and training are in place to keep our digital reporting live and up to date.

Commercial

* Assisting with commercial management in conjunction with the QS; including establishing and agreeing cash flows, payment milestones and terms & conditions.
* Subsequently managing PCE's critical activities, influencing the commercial position and performance of the project inclusive of variations, change control and commercial agreements.
* Monitoring the processes and procedures for the effective management of all aspects of procurement alongside the Project Director and Commercial Director.

Quality & Standards

* Setting high standards for quality of information, service and the end product
* Establishing, identifying and implementing relevant specifications and standards
* Responsible for making sure PCEs standards and values are met at all times for site and project office, and for the day to day running
* Establishing and implementing PCE's overall strategy for the successful delivery of the project with the Project Director
* Appreciating the overall project objectives and identifying the opportunities available to PCE to deliver the optimum solutions
* Managing, communicating and implementing Health and Safety processes/ objectives and rules inclusive of CDM co-ordination

REQUIRED SKILLS

* Experience with internet systems and database programmes.
