About you
There is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join the clinical team of Calvary's Acute Medical Unit. The Medical Unit is a 25 bed mixed specialty unit that provides quality care in the areas of Respiratory, General Medical, Endocrinology, Cardiology and Infection Diseases.
Key Responsibilities
* Practice in accordance with Calvary and relevant Government Health policies and procedures, the position description, Code of Conduct, industrial agreements and ANMC competencies
* Consistently and enthusiastically delivers high levels of patient service to exceed patient expectations
* Plans nursing care in consultation with individuals/ groups, significant others and the interdisciplinary health care team
* Contribute to patient and staff safety and wellbeing by diligently managing risks and immediately reporting hazards, incidents, serious near misses, accidents, illness or injury
* Supports and respects team members, communicating effectively and demonstrating a commitment to the team
What you bring
* Current AHPRA registration
* Working with Vulnerable People Check (or willing to obtain)
* Demonstration of maintenance of CPD points
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
* Ability to build relationships with all stakeholders
