Senior Professional Standards Officer Location - Parramatta/Hybrid working or another DCJ office location, with flexible options considered Employment type – 2 x Temporary full-time roles for 12 months plus Talent Pool Salary - $99,938.00 pa to $110,271.00 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role This role is critical in upholding integrity, accountability and public trust across Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW). You will lead initial assessments and inquiries into serious misconduct matters, provide high-quality recommendations and support decision making that directly strengthens the organisation. Working within the Triage and Change Conduct team in Professional Standards and Investigations (PSI), you will join a collaborative, high-performing group committed to fairness, impartiality and continuous improvement. What you’ll do In this role, you will assess allegations and conduct factual enquiries to support robust and timely decision making. You’ll prepare and review high-quality written materials including briefing notes, submissions, and reports, ensuring compliance with departmental standards. Day-to-day, you will compile statistical and ad-hoc reports, that support governance and accountability. You’ll liaise with internal and external stakeholders to progress sensitive and complex conduct matters. You’ll also contribute to projects that deliver key PSI initiatives, maintain accurate systems and processes, and support the unit with executive and administrative tasks to ensure efficiency and exceptional client service. Triage and Change Conduct operates within the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ), a lead agency dedicated to creating a safe, just, and inclusive NSW.
