Podiatrist – Experienced - Tin Can Bay Region, Queensland Position Highlights: Competitive salary offered (Negotiable based on experience & qualifications) Flexibility to work Full-Time or Part-Time Join a busy and reputable allied health business Supportive work environment Exceptional quality care for their patients Highly trained support staff Work with a variety of clients: DVA, NDIS, aged care, Medicare and private patients Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time or Full-Time – from 2 days a week - 0.4 FTE Practice Information: Private practice in semi-rural area - mainly aged care often in home. The practice is open between the hours of 7am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. This organisation is a multi-modal practice group dedicated to positively impacting the community through a range of preventative health measures. Position Description: There is an opportunity for an experienced Podiatrist to join their team working Monday to Friday with flexibility for full-time or part-time work, employee or contractor arrangements based on your availability. Key responsibilities: Provide accurate clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment to a variety of patients including Aged Care, DVA, Medicare and private patients Identify client-orientated goals and formulate appropriate treatment plans to facilitate the attainment of patient’s goals Provide effective advice and education and promote positive and healthy lifestyle behaviours Screen and identify potential risks prior to commencement of treatment Maintain timely and accurate consultation notes, documentation and reports Create a safe and relaxed environment where patients feel comfortable Position Requirements: Fully qualified Podiatrist Holds a current AHPRA license and have Has current insurance No Visa restrictions Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to identify and treat a range of conditions Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with patients Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices Desire to create an impact in your community After Hours Requirements: No About Tin Can Bay: Tin Can Bay is a tranquil seaside village with plenty to do. Located near the southern end of World Heritage listed K'gari (formerly Fraser Island), the town adjoins the Great Sandy Strait and offers a sheltered paradise for dolphins, birdwatching, sailing, cruising on a houseboat or fishing.
