KDEC Electrical & Solar are currently looking for a Finance/Business Manager to join our rapidly growing organisation located in Albury Wodonga. This role involves working in a dynamic environment with a passionate team, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and managing the day-to-day operations of the business.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a vital role in leading the business's finance functions. Key responsibilities include reviewing financial performance, managing payroll, and overseeing supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Implementing and reviewing internal control processes to ensure long-term success;
- Managing the finance function, including daily reconciliations, accounts receivable and payable;
- Liaising with external accountants regarding the financial position of the group;
- Supporting the administration team in client relations and operations within the Electrical & Solar divisions;
- Preparing and processing weekly payroll, superannuation, payroll tax returns, and PAYG lodgements;
- Preparing employment contracts and managing RTW coordination for Workcover claims;
- Performing additional duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of experience in financial or business management roles;
- Strong organisational, management, and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent communication skills to liaise across all levels of the organisation;
- A university degree in Accounting or Commerce/Business (highly regarded);
- Extensive experience with accounting software, particularly Xero and integrated job management systems;
- HR experience is desirable but not essential.
