Key Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled and breakdown tyre maintenance on a range of mobile mining equipment
* Remove, fit and rotate OTR mining tyres and wheels
* Conduct pressure checks and accurately record tyre usage data
* Work independently while following direction when required
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to team-based solutions
* Actively promote and uphold MacKellar’s strong safety culture
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology OR
* AURKTJ011 Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off-the-road tyres
* AURKTJ012 Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off-the-road wheel and rim assemblies
* RIIMPO208F Operate support equipment
* RIISAM202E Isolate and access plant
* RIISAM301F Test operational functions of vehicles and equipment
* Proven experience fitting heavy earthmoving tyres
* Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Queensland driver licence
