Position Overview
The company is seeking a dedicated new Business Account Executive to join their team, based in Sydney, Australia. This role is critical for acquiring mid-market customers and fast-growing SMBs. The Account Executive will navigate complex client landscapes and seize new opportunities, owning the full sales cycle for new business customers.
Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle for new business customers
Prospect for high-quality leads in a defined vertical or territory.
Meet/exceed defined revenue, productivity, and quality metrics.
Create a consistent, effective follow-up strategy to convert customers, ensure satisfaction, gather referrals, and expand accounts.
Maintain strong CRM hygiene and process discipline.
Develop expert-level knowledge of the martech industry, top competitors, and stay up to date with launches and product/pricing changes.
Qualifications
5+ years of successful track record conducting outbound and cold calls, product demos, and managing a pipeline, preferably in the SaaS/Martech Space.
Experienced in building and managing a strong sales pipeline
Self-motivated with proven success in quota carrying.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
Open to receiving feedback to improve results.
