Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll & HRIS Implementation Specialist to support the rollout of our new UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) system. This is a pivotal role in a high-impact project, consolidating multiple legacy systems into one streamlined HRIS platform.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate configuration of awards, rosters, and shifts, and will bring a strong understanding of payroll operations and workplace legislation to the table.
* Manage the end-to-end payroll implementation process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand payroll requirements and align system functionalities.
* Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation and company policies.
* Test and troubleshoot payroll software to ensure a smooth transition and functionality.
* Provide training and support to team members on the new payroll system.
* Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for payroll processes and system updates.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within payroll operations.
* Respond to payroll queries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Profile
A successful Payroll Implementation Specialist will have:
* A background in payroll, accounting, or finance, preferably within the FMCG industry.
* Experience with payroll systems and implementation projects (UKG/ADP/APV preferred)
* A strong understanding of Australian payroll awards, legislation and best practices.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in payroll processing.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* Problem-solving skills to manage system challenges effectively.
* The ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a temporary contract setting.
