28th April, 2026 About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for a commercially minded Financial Modelling professional to join a high-performing advisory team delivering pricing and cost recovery models across a large, complex environment. This role sits within a Commercial Evaluation and Advisory function and focuses on developing, refining, and implementing pricing models that support strategic decision-making and whole-of-organisation service delivery. You’ll take ownership of financial models, working across both new and existing projects—sometimes building from scratch, other times improving and optimising established frameworks. Commercial Pricing / Financial Modelling Analyst (Contract) Parramatta / Hybrid (Initial onsite training, then flexible WFH) $1,100 per day super Contract to 3 November 2026 - Extension Likely 40 hours per week Key Responsibilities Design, build and enhance financial and commercial pricing models, including scenario analysis Support business cases and funding submissions with robust, consistent modelling outputs Develop Excel-based cost models to support production in IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) Identify and integrate external data sources into modelling frameworks Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to guide activity-based costing approaches Analyse cost structures and support sustainable pricing strategies across multiple service lines About You You’re a proactive, self-driven analyst who enjoys solving complex problems and working with ambiguity. You combine strong technical modelling skills with commercial thinking and stakeholder engagement. You will bring: Strong experience in financial modelling (advanced Excel essential) Exposure to pricing, cost recovery, or commercial analysis Ability to build models from scratch and refine existing ones Experience working with large, complex datasets and multiple inputs Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and navigating differing viewpoints A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities Highly regarded: Exposure to IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) or similar tools Experience in government, infrastructure, or large-scale organisations Interest or experience in automation (e.g. Python, process improvement, data integration) Key Challenges Developing sustainable pricing models across multiple divisions and cost centres Managing competing deadlines and project interdependencies Influencing and aligning diverse stakeholders with varying priorities Why Apply?
