ACJV are seeking experienced
Leading Hand Plant Operators
to join our Civil Transmission Line team on the Central-West Orana REZ Transmission Project. This role is critical in supporting the delivery of 240km of access tracks across private property. This role requires successful candidates to travel to and reside in a camp setting in Merotherie, NSW. You\'ll work on a 14/7 roster, and 10 to 12 hours per day. Accommodation and meals are fully provided for the duration of your rostered period.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a crew of 5-10 plant operators and labourers, fostering a productive and respectful work environment.
Operate machinery when required
Plan and organise daily work schedules, delegating tasks effectively
Maintain clear and consistent communication between supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations.
Uphold and enforce high safety standards, ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols.
Demonstrate respect for property, local communities, and landowners, maintaining positive relationships on-site.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 8 years\' experience as a plant operator
Minimum 3 years\' experience as a leading hand
Experience working on haul roads and access tracks, particularly on similar projects - FIFO/Renewable energy/large Infrastructure
Tickets such as excavator, roller, dump truck, grader, dozer
Construction white card
Full C class driver\'s license at minimum and own vehicle
Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check
