Job Description About the team The Workplace Platform team sits at the heart of SEEK’s Enterprise Technology Group, enabling our people to connect, collaborate and deliver seamlessly across APAC.

About the role We’re seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to help shape the future of SEEK’s workplace technology. This role combines technical depth, platform leadership and hands‑on engineering to evolve our Managed Operating Environment (MOE) and device management ecosystem spanning across JAMF, Intune, Azure and AWS.
You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, secure and automated workplace solutions that empower SEEKers to do their best work. You’ll guide platform architecture, uplift engineering practices and mentor support teams. Driving modern, self‑service models that simplify how we work globally. It’s a high‑impact role where your expertise will directly influence SEEK’s technology evolution and employee experience.
Responsibilities
Design, build and operate SEEK’s Managed Operating Environment (MOE) and client management platforms.
Deliver secure, scalable solutions across JAMF, Intune, Azure and AWS to support hybrid and flexible work.
Champion automation and self‑service approaches for software deployment and device lifecycle management.
Manage application lifecycle, upgrades and configuration of modern workplace environments.
Improve operational reliability through observability, security alignment and engineering best practice.
Mentor and support technical teams across APAC, fostering skill growth and engagement.
Collaborate with Architecture, Security and business stakeholders to influence platform direction.
Qualifications Skills and experience
Demonstrated experience in large‑scale IT infrastructure, workplace engineering or platform operations.
Extensive experience in administrating JAMF, certified expert preferred (JAMF 400).
Strong background in scripting and automation, with a focus on efficiency and user experience.
Deep technical knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystems, including Intune, Azure, Entra, M365.
Hands‑on experience with Okta, AWS and the Atlassian suite.
Excellent communication, documentation and collaboration skills.
Strategic thinker with a hands‑on mindset, balancing quality, speed and innovation.
Passion for mentorship, continuous improvement and working as part of a team.
Experience with networking, VPNs or flexible work solutions (e.g., DaaS).
Familiarity with cloud observability tools such as Splunk or Datadog.
