The Hospital
Join a dynamic and diverse team of over 30 permanent local psychiatrists and 40 registrars in training, working across all psychiatric sub-specialties. A state-of-the-art 53-bed dedicated to Mental Health Inpatient Services, officially opened in February 2025, offering cutting-edge care and support.
Exciting developments are underway, including the upcoming launch of a youth residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre. In addition, planning is in progress for two new specialised units: an adolescent mental health inpatient unit and a mother and baby unit—each designed to meet the evolving needs of our community.
The Requirements
* Specialist registration with AHPRA as a FRANZCP, and RANZCP trainees who are six months away from obtaining fellowship are also welcome to apply.
* International Medical Graduates from NZ, UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, South Africa, and Hong Kong who have been specialists for at least one to two years are also invited to apply.
