Summary: We are seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring their Portfolio of assets (mostly retail) are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities: Follow and support the development of an existing to comprehensive facilities management plan Manage all aspects of facility maintenance per asset agreement, which may include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes Manage existing vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services and supplies Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance and repairs Coordinate with other departments to ensure that facilities meet their needs Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations Experience managing budgets and negotiating contracts Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Preferred Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field
