We're seeking a qualified and detailed focused Spray Painter to join our team at the Launceston where you'll play a key role in restoring and refinishing our bus fleet to a high professional standard.
This is a great opportunity to apply your skills in a clean, well-equipped workshop, supported by a team that values quality, safety and pride in presentation.
You’ll Be Involved In
End-to-end painting process of vehicles - sealing, sanding, masking, priming and spray painting.
Cut & polish detailing to prepare vehicles for services.
Ensuring all repairs meet industry compliance requirements and company expectations.
Mentor and assist Apprentices and Trade Assistants as required whilst making sure they complete all relevant work safely and at the required quality.

The Boxes You’ll Tick
Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or other relevant qualification.
Proven experience in spray painting, preferably in heavy vehicles or large surface areas
Medium Rigid (MR) licence or higher is preferred but not mandatory.
Forklift licence is preferred but not mandatory.
Good understanding of workshop operations is advantageous.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
