We are currently seeing an enthusiastic and driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team, to manage the daily Klinger Integrity Services specialised and site operations to ensure all projects are implemented with due diligence and best practice, meeting Klinger Integrity Services internal systems and procedures and client contractual and legal requirements, driving growth strategies and working closely with out customer base.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify, compile and foster new Klinger Integrity Services business opportunities using relevant business directories and other resources.
* Engage in client liaison on all national and international projects, before, during, and after work is conducted.
* Visit regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on developing business opportunities for Klinger.
* Monitor operational performance, implement continuous improvement culture across all projects.
* Develop and maintain Klinger Integrity Services operating systems and procedures, required Standards, and any client specific requirements are complied with in daily operations.
* Maintenance of technical knowledge base relevant to leak detection and repair.
* Supervision and support of all onsite work and including daily and weekly liaison with work teams and client job progress.
* Project duration and progress reporting, both client and management.
* Oversee personnel project and standard time keeping records.
* Carry out inductions of new personnel and monitor all personnel induction status in all systems and procedures relating to Klinger Integrity Services.
* Conduct Klinger Integrity Services periodic onsite audits covering all systems and procedures.
* Conduct client related job and onsite audits as required.
* Assess clients' requirements, monitor clients' changing needs and recommend and/or provide them with guidance as necessary on Project execution.
* Communicate with Klinger management as necessary on Project execution.
* Preparation to meeting and project completion reports as required by the client.
* Assist in preparation of Project quotations and or actual preparation.
* Manage updates to Klinger Integrity Services daily and operational procedures as necessary.
* Keep up to date with current and new OHS procedures, relating to Klinger Integrity Services and client OHS requirements.
* Oversee and develop quality and environmental management system in line with Klinger limited protocols.
* Attend as required, Klinger Integrity Services Management, OHS and general meetings.
* Maintain a safe working environment and have responsibility for safety within your department.
* Report all hazards, unsafe practices, unsafe conditions and situations, all injuries and all incidents to your manager.
* Notify the appropriate team member of any equipment failure or damage (this may include vehicles, IT hardware, or any equipment that has a potential safety hazard).
* Lead by example in health and safety awareness by correctly wearing all personal protective equipment as required. This may include safety shoes at all times, and hearing protection, safety glasses and hi-vis vests in certain areas of the workplace.
* Observe and follow all policies and instructions related to safety when at work or at client sites.
* Undertake training and re-training in standard work practices and safe work skills as required.
* Promote the culture of teamwork, trust and mutual respect through working cooperatively with other team members.
* Ensure your dealings with all team members are respectful and courteous.
* Recognise and value the differences within our team, and set a positive example to others.
* At all times, represent the Company in a professional manner by presenting a positive Company image to the public and all customers and clients.
* Complete all duties as required by the Company, and other duties as requested, within your skills set.

Skills and Experience

* Demonstrable experience in sales role.
* Knowledge of principles and methods involved in showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategies and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control systems.
* Good working knowledge of Company products.
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate (verbal and written) with people of all levels and different cultural backgrounds.
* Strong knowledge and commitment to safety.
* Intermediate IT skills - Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to analyse and interpret information.
* Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
* Experience in the preparation and delivery of technical presentations in a professional manner;
* Commercially astute with aptitude for quickly developing product knowledge;
* Displaying a high standard of personal appearance and conduct at all times;
* Proactive, assertive, self-motivated and determined with a can-do attitude with perseverance
* Ability to deal with pressure in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

* Relevant tertiary or trade qualification or a minimum of 7 years' proven sales experience and customer relations in this or a closely related field;
* Supervisory and technical experience relevant to KLINGER Integrity Services work, including experience in major petroleum refining or petrochemical industry facilities and associated management systems;
* Current driver's licence;
