Gatton Kindergarten is a community-based, not-for-profit early learning centre seeking a dedicated and passionate early childhood educator to join our close-knit team on a permanent part-time basis. You will play a vital role in supporting children's learning and development in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the lead educator in planning and delivering high-quality educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
* Provide a safe, caring and engaging environment for children to learn and grow
* Collaborate with the teaching team to observe, document and assess children's progress
* Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
* Undertake general duties such as setting up/packing away activities both inside the classroom and out, and maintaining a clean, organised learning space
Requirements
* A relevant Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
* Experience working in a similar role within the early childhood education sector
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families
* A genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of young children
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities
* A current Working with Children Check, First Aid and Anaphylaxis certificate and Current Child Protection Certificate
