The Role
We are seeking a Commercial Project Administrator to join our team on a major Rail Maintenance Facility and Stabling Yard construction project based in Ormeau, Queensland.
This is a fulltime permanent position, perfect for someone who enjoys multitasking and takes pride in providing top-tier commercial administrative and project support.
Responsibilities
* Provide onboarding, site induction support and customer service in all onsite project admin related activities.
* Collate and submit weekly timesheets for the team and liaise with payroll on any discrepancies.
* Coordinate timing of month-end, including payment claims, review subcontractor accounts for required updates.
* Raising Purchase Orders, Receipting in goods and invoices.
* Maintain accurate and organised document control, filing systems, records and reporting files.
* Identify and resolve site-related issues, escalating complex problems to management as needed.
About You
* Previous administration experience within a similar role.
* Project or site-based experience within the construction industry is highly desirable.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
* Experience across MS Office applications and other software or systems.
* Collaborative and motivated personality with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
