About the role
Join the JBS Australia Pty Limited team as a full-time Forklift Driver based in Longford, TAS. We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious team members to join our company. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently while maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
· Manually handing, staking and unstacking cantons as and where required.
· Load and unload goods from trucks and storage areas.
· Ensure accurate placement and stacking of products.
· Conduct routine equipment checks and report any issues.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations.
Criteria for selection include (but is not limited to):
· Current forklift license (LF).
· Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Good communication and time management skills.
