Permanent Part-Time Opportunity | 16 hours per week: either 2x 5 hour days + 1x 6 hour day per week or 2x 7.6 hour days and 3 x 5.6 hour days per fortnight.

Your Role
Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves to keep things running smoothly? As a Maintenance Officer at BaptistCare, you'll be the go-to person for all things maintenance, ensuring our facilities are top-notch and our clients are happy. Key Responsibilities
* Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on buildings, painting, plant and equipment, furniture, fittings, gardens, lawns, and carparks.
* Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.
* Maintain asset acquisition and disposals in Maintenance Connection.
* Manage site vehicles and loading dock areas.
* Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager on budget planning and asset management.
* Purchase and order equipment in accordance with organizational policies.
* Report and manage resident and staff complaints regarding maintenance services.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and contractors.
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and BaptistCare policies.

What We're Looking For
* Minimum of 12 months experience in preventative and reactive maintenance systems.
* Hands-on property maintenance experience.
* Understanding of operational budget processes.
* Experience managing property-related contractors.
* A team player with a can-do attitude.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
* Valid driver's license.
* Fire Safety Officer training (or willingness to undertake) – desirable.
* Experience in an Aged Care or Health Care environment.
* A genuine alignment to BaptistCare's vision, purpose and values.
