As we expand our footprint across Australia, we are looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to join our team and drive growth across our Microsoft portfolio.

Role Overview

The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across Microsoft solution areas—including Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, and Security. This role requires a proactive, tech‑savvy professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about helping customers modernise and innovate using Microsoft technologies.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Growth

* Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across Microsoft cloud and modern workplace solutions.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand Teckonnect's Microsoft customer base.
* Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and partner engagement.

Microsoft Partnership & Solution Expertise

* Promote and position Microsoft solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Security) to prospective clients.
* Collaborate closely with Microsoft account teams, distributors, and ecosystem partners to drive co‑selling and joint opportunities.
* Stay updated on Microsoft product updates, incentives, licensing models, and partner programs.

Client Relationship Management

* Develop long‑term relationships with key stakeholders, decision‑makers, and technical teams.
* Understand client business challenges and align Teckonnect's Microsoft offerings to deliver value‑driven outcomes.
* Conduct discovery sessions, solution presentations, and product demonstrations (with technical support where required).

Collaboration & Reporting

* Work closely with internal technical consultants, project managers, and leadership to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
* Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and activity reports.
* Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and feedback to support strategic planning.

Skills & QualificationsRequired

* Proven experience in B2B technology sales, preferably within a Microsoft partner or IT services environment.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies and licensing (M365, Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to build rapport quickly and manage relationships at all organisational levels.
* Self‑driven, target‑oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Preferred

* Experience working with Microsoft Partner Center, CSP programs, or Microsoft co‑sell motions.
* Familiarity with solution selling methodologies (e.g., Challenger, SPIN, Consultative Selling).
* Microsoft certifications (e.g., Fundamentals or Associate level) are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
