Jundalya is recruiting this position for a large hospitality group who operate several venues in the Fremantle area.
The successful candidate will plan, design, develop and prepare information for Internet publication with particular emphasis on the user interface, ease of navigation and location of information using text, pictures, animation, sound, colours, layout and data sources to deliver information tailored for an intended audience and purpose.
The key responsibilities of the position are:
•User-Centric Design
Demonstrates proficiency in creating intuitive, engaging, and accessible web designs that prioritise the user experience.
•Multimedia Integration
Incorporates text, images, animation, sound, and video into web designs to enhance content delivery, making the website visually appealing while ensuring the content supports the overall message and goals.
•Brand Consistency and Visual Design
Maintains brand identity through effective use of colours, fonts, and layout, ensuring consistency across all digital platforms, aligning with the company's values, tone, and marketing goals.
•Content Strategy & Tailored Messaging
Works with stakeholders to understand target audiences and customises the web content accordingly to align with the brand voice and user expectations. Delivers clear, concise, and persuasive content that resonates with the audience/customers.
•Collaboration with Marketing Teams
Partners with marketing, development, and content teams to ensure that web projects are integrated with broader marketing campaigns, leveraging SEO strategies, social media, and other channels to enhance visibility and engagement.
•SEO & Analytics Understanding
Optimises websites for search engines (SEO) and uses analytics tools to monitor website performance, adjusting strategies for improved user engagement, conversion rates, and overall effectiveness.
•Project Management & Technical Skills
Manages multiple web design and marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Familiar with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and content management systems (e.g. WordPress).
