An exciting opportunity exists for a Sales Representative / Agronomist to join our team in the AYR Branch.
In this role you will have a high degree of sales experience building around product knowledge and providing support to our customers. Product training will be provided on our in‐house range of products available to customers. You will be supported by the AYR Branch Team, specialist Agronomists, and the Regional Business Manager, and your position will report directly to the Area Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Product sales and developing strong relationships with new and existing clients
* Working closely and collaboratively with other members of the Muirs team and national network
* Assisting customers with product queries
About you
* Good presentation, communication and relationship building skills
* Excellent customer service skills with an ability and willingness to travel and build relationships with industry suppliers
* Strong problem‐solving skills, time/priority management and an ability to work independently
* Previous experience working in an agricultural retail sales environment (preferred)
* An agronomic degree and knowledge of sugar cane an advantage but not essential
* Relevant computer skills across the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
* A current driver's licence is essential
