Overview
DP World is seeking an Injury Management Specialist to join our People team based in Fremantle, WA. In this role, you will oversee the safe, timely and cost-effective return of employees to their pre-injury duties while managing strategic and outcome-focused workers compensation cases across the business.
You will manage a portfolio of 25+ workers compensation claims across early intervention, medium and long-term cases, supporting employees throughout the return-to-work process and driving positive recovery outcomes. Working closely with employees, operational leaders, insurers and medical providers, you will play a key role in delivering effective injury management and claim reduction strategies.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday and will involve travel between operational sites as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end workers compensation and injury management cases across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies
* Coordinate safe, timely and sustainable return to work outcomes for injured employees through proactive case management
* Develop and monitor return to work and injury management plans tailored to individual recovery needs
* Maintain effective communication with employees, operational leaders, insurers and medical providers throughout the claims process
* Drive early intervention and claim reduction strategies to improve recovery outcomes
* Prepare reports, maintain accurate case documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives across injury management and wellbeing practices
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in injury management, workers compensation or return to work coordination
* Experience managing both early intervention and complex or long-term claims
* Strong understanding of workers compensation legislation and return to work frameworks
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
* Relevant Return to Work Coordinator or Injury Management qualifications are highly regarded
