Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Parts Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely availability of critical spares and consumables.
Your primary focus will be on coordinating ordering of parts for various activities, tracking and reporting on parts usage and costs, and creating and managing notifications, work orders, and purchase requisitions in SAP. You will also maintain and update SAP Master Data (materials, vendors, BOMs) and support alignment of stock with maintenance plans and asset strategies.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with logistics and coordination during shutdowns, collaborating with Warehouse to reduce obsolete or slow-moving stock, supporting critical spares reviews and BOM development, and providing support to Water Treatment and Electrical teams.
You will also be responsible for maintaining tracking sheets and dashboards to monitor your role's impact and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong working knowledge of SAP (PM and MM modules)
* Experience with Master Data management (materials, BOMs, vendors)
* Understanding of maintenance planning and asset management
* Familiarity with LV and HME equipment and parts
* Strong organisational and communication skills
Benefits
This role offers a 3-month initial contract with strong extension likelihood. You can expect rates of $50–$60/hr + flights, meals, accommodation, and a roster of 14/7 (FIFO from Brisbane or Darwin, with flights, meals, and accommodation provided).
