The program
Social, Media & External Engagement plays a critical role in ensuring that the brand of Australian Red Cross is highly recognised and respected in the Australian community. Through powerful storytelling, strategic media outreach, and meaningful public engagement, this program ensures the Australian Red Cross brand is widely recognised, respected, and trusted. It supports our public advocacy efforts on critical issues including emergency services, social inclusion, and international humanitarian law - helping us engage the community and influence positive change.
It also plays a key role in maintaining a consistent and positive organic social media brand presence across owned channels.
The opportunity
This placement is an opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience with the world's largest humanitarian organisation, in content creation, campaign planning, and social media strategy while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Australian Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the world's largest humanitarian network.
