About the opportunity
Working a 19:9 roster, flying from any capital city in Australia, Altrad are seeking an experienced Quality Advisor to join our team and play a key role in delivering and maintaining high standards or work to achieve long‐term success.

In this role, you will:
Drive a strong quality culture across site, ensuring compliance with client and Altrad standards, specifications, procedures and Quality Management Plans (QMP).
Develop, implement and maintain project quality documentation, including QMPs, ITPs, work methods, quality records, MDRs and work package documentation to achieve timely client sign-off.
Develop and implement a quality audit schedule to ensure quality assurance.
Set a framework which encourages regular surveillance and reporting thereof by quality team members to drive a proactive approach towards quality.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to Supervisors and the workforce, ensuring correct materials, application methodologies and inspection requirements consistently met.
Identify trends in quality output and, as necessary, develop and deliver bulletins and training sessions as required to ensure alignment with quality requirements and expectations.
Interface daily with Client Quality leadership and representatives, participate in inspection and quality walks, investigate non-conformances and take a proactive approach towards raising internal NCRs where warranted, and preparing Technical Queries as required.
Drive continuous improvement and assurance outcomes through audits, KPI tracking, competency verification, calibration management and collaboration with corporate QA/QC leadership.

About you
You're a collaborative, and results-driven professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys contributing to meaningful outcomes.
Qualified Coatings and/or Insulation Quality Inspector, holding NACE CIP Level 2 (or equivalent) and/or ICORR Level 2 / CINI certification are desirable.
Relevant industry experience as a Quality Advisor, with proven time spent in the Coating & Insulation sector.
Strong working knowledge of quality legislation, industry standards and best practice, ideally supported by experience in an engineering or contracting environment.
Highly capable in developing and maintaining quality documentation, including procedures, quality plans and reports, with well-developed written communication skills.
A confident leader and team contributor, able to operate effectively in multi-cultural workforces, bring trade knowledge where applicable, and remain flexible to undertake on‐site and off‐site duties as required.
