About the Role
As Key Account Manager, you will own relationships with major retailers and independent groups in NSW, responsible for driving volume growth, negotiating trading terms, and delivering joint business plans. You’ll work closely with marketing, supply chain, and category teams to ensure strong in-store presence and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key accounts including Coles, Woolworths, independents, and specialty channels
- Develop and execute annual joint business plans with key retailers
- Negotiate trading terms, pricing, and promotional activity
- Monitor category performance and provide insights to drive shelf presence and sales
- Collaborate with marketing on promotional campaigns, activations, and merchandising
- Identify new opportunities to expand distribution and market share
- Represent the company at retail forums, trade shows, and category reviews
Your Background
- Proven experience in key account management or category sales within FMCG or consumer goods
- Strong retailer relationships across Coles, Woolworths, and/or independents
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate trading terms and deliver business plans
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and category management skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
