Position: Full-time Pastrychef
The Harbourfront Seafood Restaurant, located at Wollongong, established for over 30 years. We're located on the South Coast of NSW, an hour south of Sydney. Positioned on the water's edge of Belmore Basin with beautiful views of Wollongong Harbour and our coastline, we offer a unique dining experience.
Our restaurant has our own private pastry section, currently we are looking for a fulltime Pastrychef.
Please find the following duties:
· Checking quality of raw materials and ensure it meets daily consumption requirement.
· Making pastry dough and pastry products by using different techniques such as forming, loading, baking, unloading, and cooling.
· Preparing and Baking and decorating all types of tart, pies, crumbles and cakes, including cheese cake, brownies and Caramel slice, chocolate indulgence.
· Stock receiving, re-ordering and checking date of expiry.
· Operating machines and monitoring oven temperatures and check pastry appearance and ensure it is baked properly.
· Cleaning machines and equipment, baking trays, tins and workplace and ensure kitchen remains clean and organized.
· Mentoring and Training new staff.
To be successful for this role, candidate must have:
· At least 2 years working experiences;
· Relevant qualification;
· Creativity;
· Strong Organization Skills & Attention to Details;
· Ability to Handle High Stress Environments;
Attractive remuneration between $70,000 – $80,000 plus Super
