This operation focuses on producing high-quality wheat, barley, and lentil crops for grain. Utilising advanced technologies such as AgWorld, Ag Leader, and Greenstar, the property has excellent infrastructure and modern, well-maintained John Deere machinery, including a Hardi self-propelled spray rig.The business is professionally managed and employs a highly regarded agronomist who actively shares expertise with emerging farmers. A profit-sharing bonus system is currently being considered to incentivise their dedicated team further.While the business has been gradually reducing its sheep numbers to concentrate on crop production, the existing sheep infrastructure presents opportunities for developing a sheep trading market in the future.The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in all aspects of the cropping cycle, which includes seeding, spraying, harvesting, and general farm maintenance, as well as participating in sheep husbandry duties as required. All operational procedures are conducted in-house, with external contractors engaged for grain carting during harvest time.This position offers a collaborative work environment, closely supporting the owner and a small team during key periods such as seeding and harvest while incorporating the agronomist’s recommendations.
