This role will be full-time position including seasonal shift work which will involve working onsite as part of a well-established maintenance team.
Duties
* Carry out the execution of preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
* Providing maintenance support, entering data, updating equipment records, and participating in continuous improvement follow up.
* Electrical and Mechanical trouble-shooting.
* Closely monitor machine performance and intervene as any deterioration in performance occurs.
* As part of the Electrical / Fitter Maintenance team, work with equipment suppliers on new equipment and installations and modifications.
* Co-operate and participate fully in training and development in cross-skilling and other job-related competencies.
* Update the maintenance management system (AUXEL), records of all changes, stores transactions made and work carried out.
* Troubleshooting using PLC Programs.
* Responsible for completion of your planned work, shifts daily input of all works onto AUXEL, parts booked out of stores and control of breakdowns.
* Ensure Maintenance Manager is aware of any problems on site as soon as possible.
* Observing all onsite and legislative rules and regulations in terms of Health and Safety.
Qualifications And Skills
* You must be qualified to QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – mechanical automation and maintenance fitting or other appropriate engineering qualification.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing / plant environment.
* Multi-skilled / cross-skilled ethos.
* Experienced in fault finding and problem solving.
* Comprehensive knowledge of high-speed mechanical systems, electrical systems, automation and PLC control systems.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
