Overview
BlueCare is expanding its Nurse Led Clinics as part of the centralised Statewide Clinical team. A dedicated specialised service offering complex nursing care within clinic spaces and in clients' homes. The role will work alongside BlueCare's Allied Health team, GPs and Hospitals in a multidisciplinary approach. We are seeking highly skilled Clinical Nurses with post graduate studies in wound care to lead a Nurse Led Clinic.
Responsibilities
Our Nurse Led clinic team are autonomous practitioners that thrive in a busy environment, engaging with their clients delivering excellence in care, whilst also developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote our services to the community. Our clinics focus on delivering excellence in care and client outcomes providing services to clients including:
* Chronic and complex wounds
* Poor skin integrity
* Reduced mobility, swelling and oedema
* Palliative care
* Expert dressing and wound management advice
* Education and wellness
Qualifications
You will be an experienced and highly motivated clinician with post graduate qualifications in your specialist area and be able to operate autonomously. This is a relationship driven role; well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills are key to the role. You'll also present with:
* Post graduate qualification in the relevant specialised nursing discipline
* Current AHPRA registration
* Extensive general nursing experience and demonstrated skills reflective of clinical speciality
* Confidence to manage conflict, pressures and competing priorities
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team with ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship to other team members
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge in community funding is highly desirable
