* Drive the ongoing development and review of financial budgets, forecasts and financial reports
* Provide effective leadership to the Finance team and ensure the delivery of professional, friendly and helpful support that reflects the principles of the Social Futures’ Practice Framework and the organisation’s values
* Develop and oversee the implementation and evaluation of standardised financial practices, systems and procedures to optimise efficiency and support the achievement of quality outcomes and meet compliance requirements
* Coordinate and deliver fit-for-purpose financial reporting and analysis to key stakeholders, including managers, theExecutive, the Board and funding bodies

Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee all core financial functions, manage a high-performing team of four staff and contribute to strategic initiatives that support making a positive impact in our communities.

We are looking for a passionate leader with a desire to make a difference. The successful candidate will have:
* Professional Accounting Qualifications (CPA/CA) with a degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline
* Strong understanding and knowledge of the Australian Accounting Standards
* Demonstrated experience in finance, including in a leadership or management role.
* Experience in financial operations: month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, FBT (charity salary packaging) and statutory compliance
* Experience in block funding acquisition processes would be highly regarded
* Community Services sector experience is highly regarded but not essential
