* Represent clients in all stages of proceedings, including providing advice, preparing matters, and appearing in court.
* Provide duty lawyer services in Magistrates and Children's Courts and appear on higher court call-overs and mentions.
* Offer legal information and advice to clients and members of the public.
* Supervise legal work, train, guide, and develop the legal skills of staff within Criminal Law Services.
* Contribute to policy development, operational planning, and community legal education.

* Knowledge and experience in preparation, representation, and advocacy of complex criminal law and related matters.
* Knowledge of and compliance with practice and procedure of criminal law, evidence, and ethics.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.

* 36.25 hours per week (full-time hours)
