About The Role
This role is a key operational role within our Drill and Blast team based at Tarrawonga mine in the Gunnedah Region. Working in an operational capacity you will work as part of a team within the pit, completing all activities with a strong focus on safety.
This role will involve working a 12 hour shifts on an even time roster.
What You'll Do
* Assisting shotfirers, drillers and MMU Operators as required
* Assist with the 'hands-on' delivery of explosive products down pre-drilled blast holes on bench
* Working in tight unison with your teammates to provide excellence in service to our valued customers
* Demonstrating and setting the example of our key company value's
What You'll Bring
* Drill and Blast knowledge and experience is preferred or a keen interest to progress your career in this direction
* Ability to pass all required security checks to obtain a UHL
* Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding environments
* Must be willing to complete Surface shot firer competency
* Willingness and adherence to our STRIVE Values (Safety, Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Value, Excellence)
