We are partnering with a well established and expanding Australian-owned food manufacturer supplying high quality products to major retail and foodservice customers nationwide. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a hands-on and commercially minded Production Manager to take ownership of their primary manufacturing site in Greenacre.

What You'll Be Doing
Leading and developing supervisors and production teams to achieve daily output targets
Driving performance across safety, quality, cost and delivery KPIs
Embedding a strong food safety and compliance culture
Managing labour planning and workforce efficiency to optimise cost control
Overseeing production scheduling to meet customer demand
Partnering with maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime
Analysing production data to identify improvement opportunities
Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste
Reporting on site performance to senior leadership
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Production Manager (or Senior Production Leader ready to step up) within food processing or food packaging
Strong knowledge of food safety and quality systems
Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Commercial acumen with the ability to manage costs and drive efficiencies
A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across departments
