About the Role:
Applications are sought from suitably qualified Podiatrists to work in the Podiatry Department at Echuca Regional Health. This role will play a pivotal part in the delivery of client centred foot care services to our community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide Podiatry evidence-based assessment, treatment and management of clients accessing services through Echuca Regional Health throughout the continuation of care
- Work with consumers and liaise with other members of Community Service teams to facilitate client management, safe program delivery and service coordination as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Evaluation of treatment and service provision, making use of objective measures where possible
- Perform minor surgical procedures when required
- Actively participate in quality improvement activities and projects and implement education
- Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested
Qualifications/experience required:
- Bachelor and/ or Qualifications in Podiatry or equivalent
- Registration with AHPRA as a Podiatrist
- Demonstrated knowledge of how to provide Podiatry services to a diverse client caseload in a variety of settings
