About the role
This is a full-time position at Longview Vineyard's renowned day spa located in Macclesfield, South Australia. As the Day Spa Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience for our visitors. This is a hands on role.
What you'll be doing
* Manage and supervise the team of spa therapists, receptionists and other spa personnel
* Oversee the scheduling, booking and coordination of spa appointments and services
* Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed to support spa operations
* Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety throughout the spa facility
* Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
* Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the spa and attract new clients
* Monitor and report on key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
* Foster a positive and motivating work environment for the spa team
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a management role within the hair and beauty services industry
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team
* Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
* Solid understanding of spa operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and marketing
* Proficiency in using spa management software and other relevant technology
* Valid certification in first aid and occupational health and safety
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
* Bachelor or Diploma in Massage Therapy or Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy qualification required
* Must hold Australian permanent residency status
