Duties
1. Greet showroom customers and determine the nature of their visit.
2. Direct customers to the correct department, notify the appropriate person that a customer is waiting, and introduce the customer to a salesperson.
3. Answer incoming phone calls, direct callers to the appropriate department or individual, or take detailed messages.
4. Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
5. Obtain basic demographic information about each customer using the dealership's established method.
6. Enter data into the prospect tracking system and generate weekly reports for managers.
7. Communicate messages to the relevant parties promptly.
8. Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
9. Assist with clerical duties as needed.
10. Accept payments, handle related paperwork, and ensure proper filing or scanning of documents.
11. No prior experience or training required.
12. Read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
13. Write simple correspondence.
14. Possess strong interpersonal skills.
15. Have basic mathematical skills.
16. Apply common sense to carry out instructions in written or oral form.
17. Demonstrate a desire to help customers.
18. Pass drug testing, MVR/insurance checks, background investigation, and interview.
