Job Role: Dementia Care Specialist
* Deliver tailored support services to individuals with dementia, focusing on goal-oriented care and promoting independence.
* Prioritize individualized care for those living with dementia, encompassing personal assistance, meal planning and management of challenging behaviors.
The role also requires the ability to:
* To work in partnership with participants, their families/carers and other service providers to ensure a comprehensive service is provided.
* The provision of information and education about dementia, its impact on daily life as well as strategies for effective communication
* Participate in regular supervision meetings
