We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading EPC contractor specialising in the delivery of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across Australia. With a number of active and upcoming projects, they are seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to join the team on a 6-month contract based in Melbourne.Role OverviewThe Contracts Administrator will be responsible for supporting the commercial and contractual management of major BESS projects. Working closely with project managers and other stakeholders, this role will focus on contract execution, compliance, risk mitigation, and change control throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in reviewing, negotiating, and administering EPC and subcontractor agreementsTrack and manage contract milestones, deliverables, and obligationsMaintain contract documentation and records to support compliance and auditingSupport the management of variations, claims, and contract amendmentsMonitor commercial risks and escalate issues where appropriateWork with internal teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectivesContribute to contract close-out processes at the end of project phasesCandidate RequirementsTertiary qualification in Business, Law, Construction Management, Engineering or related disciplineMinimum 3 years' experience in contract administration within EPC, construction, or energy projectsExposure to battery storage, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects preferredSolid understanding of contractual terms, risk frameworks, and compliance requirementsStrong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skillsAble to commit to a 6-month contract with potential for extension depending on project needsWhat's on Offer6-month contract with immediate start availableCompetitive hourly/daily rate based on experienceOpportunity to work on cutting-edge renewable energy projectsExposure to a dynamic and growing sector with industry-leading professionalsHybrid working arrangements available
