Salary Range: Band5-$98,778 to $111,969 plus superannuation and benefits.

Remuneration stated is for full-time positions

Corporate Services support, equip and help guide Council to deliver the Brisbane Vision through centralised corporate services and a customer‐focused approach.

Our Branch

The Business Engagement and Performance Branch operates across Council as a strategic partner and standard‐setter, empowering the organisation to deliver exceptional community and organisational value through enterprise strategy‐to‐execution alignment, good governance, and service and process excellence. The branch builds Council's capacity to manage performance, portfolios and change to deliver desired outcomes for the city and adapt to future demand and growth.

The Role

The Service Management Officer supports the Service Performance Lead to develop, drive and oversee the improvement roadmap and program of work to optimise Corporate Services.

In this role, you will work with the Strategy, Policy and Reporting section to develop and maintain the service catalogues. You will work closely with other team members to build and mature the service management function for the Group.

Key Requirements

* Proven experience in service management, customer service, or demand management
* Strong understanding of service management methodologies, approaches and frameworks
* Demonstrated ability to develop and refine service levels and Service Level Agreements
* Excellent communication and strong stakeholder management skills
* Highly developed analytical and problem‐solving skills.
