Role Description
One of our government clients is looking for a Business Analyst with strong experience in contemporary banking practices and financial technology to support NT Government (NTG) banking service delivery.
The role will involve:
Reviewing, investigating, and documenting requirements for system design, solution architecture, and change implementation.
Capturing existing business processes and defining proposed changes for ongoing improvements within NTG Banking Service practices and provisioning via the finance systems suite.
Analyzing and mapping business requirements to solution functionality.
Essential Skills
The successful Business Analyst will need:
* Experience in banking service delivery and real-time payment systems (preferably New Payments Platform (NPP))
* Ability to design technical solutions across a multi-faceted finance suite of applications
* Familiarity with industry-standard techniques for requirements gathering, business process analysis/modelling, and solution design in complex environments
* Strong analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail and conceptual thinking
* Highly effective client liaison, change management, and facilitation skills
* Compatibility with NTG's existing finance systems and alignment with ECS Roadmap objectives is essential.
* Australian Citizenship is mandatory
Desired Skills
* Recent experience in technical banking service delivery
* Knowledge of NTG or government financial frameworks

The suitable candidate will be required to be based in Darwin for the duration of this engagement.
