Risk Lead - A Critical Role in Governance, Risk and Control
Our company is seeking a highly skilled Risk Lead to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing governance, risk, and control requirements for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing mitigation strategies in conjunction with business representatives by evaluating business initiatives and projects.
* Drafting and providing information to maintain risk policies, plans, frameworks, and guidelines to provide awareness on risk management best practices.
* Preparing and reviewing a range of written material including reports and corporate documentation.
* Assisting in monitoring KRI's, risk appetite and tolerance, and assisting with the implementation of corrective action plans to mitigate risks.
* Maintaining accurate risk and compliance data/registers within the Agency Risk Management System.
* Identifying and extracting risk and mitigation data to enhance insight into business activity.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to develop comprehensive risk profiles for projects and work streams.
* Managing relationships with delegated Business portfolio, providing advice and communicating key issues and areas of risk to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary or related professional qualifications.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in risk management.
* Previous experience in the banking industry would be highly regarded.
