Metso is looking for a Technical Product Sales Manager, acting as the product expert in the MA; Working with sales team to build campaigns, opportunity funnel, priorities, and solutions. Works closely with the tier 2 technical sales support to deploy new product information, best practices, sales trainings and technology specific value argumentation.
What you’ll do
* Responsible for supporting and/or leading sales for Chute and Chute Lining applications in the determined geographical region.
* Ensure that Account managers have adequate training and support to sell their products.
* Provide Country/Region/market area level PG level business forecast together with the sales team.
* Support in PG level sales funnel generation, ensures quotation process data for specific case is at a right level.
* Ensures value co-creation is effectively done with the customer.
* Responsible for the value argumentation, value proposition and win plan of the cases and overall for the technology.
* Ensures timely progress of the sales case from lead to proposal and negotiations; ensures profitability of the sales cases and the business segment.
* Understands the market, competition and the industry best practices for the defined technology and ensures that the sales case is built accordingly.
* Ensures compliance with sales process, proposal and risk management procedures in the cases.
* Supporting Warrant process, IB Validation, and inspection report reviews, recommendations, and solution definition.
* Escalates issues to Tier 2 Technical Sales Support.
Who you are
* Technical background in mining related.
* Experience in mining processes and mine maintenance procedures.
* Relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree) or Trade.
* Understanding of conveyor pulley refurbishment process.
* Understanding of business concept.
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally at all levels.
* Effective planning and organisational skills.
* Good communication skill in English both written and verbally.
* A strong commitment to ensure that all internal and external customers are delivered excellent service.
* Must have current motor vehicle license.
