Position
Registrar, Anatomical Pathology — Royal Hobart Hospital (South Tasmania) under the Tasmanian Health Service.
Responsibilities
* Day‐to‐day surgical cut‐up and biopsy reporting.
* Participation in surgical meetings.
* Involvement in histopathology, autopsy pathology and cytopathology, with rotations in Forensic Pathology and Hobart Pathology.
* Clinical meetings, teaching and research activities.
Qualifications
* General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Current Tasmania Working with Children registration where applicable.
* Eligibility for medical registration in Australia.
* Other professional requirements as determined by the position.
Employment Details
Classified as Medical Practitioner Level 5‐11 (Registrar/Senior Registrar) under the Medical Practitioners Agreement 2022.
Fixed term, full‐time; 76 hours per fortnight (+10 hours protected training time), 24 months (negotiable).
Start date: 1 February 2027; End date: 8 February 2028.
Salary
$134,930 to $189,005 per annum.
