About the Role
In this hands‐on, development‐focused role, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of upgrades to DDG Combat Systems. You'll collaborate with a wide network of engineers, program leads, suppliers, Defence stakeholders and internal teams. You'll be the connective thread that helps ensure the right people, systems, and processes come together to deliver outstanding results.
What You'll Do
* Assist in planning and coordinating Combat System support requirements and resources
* Track progress and prepare status reports for both the DDG Systems Program Office (DDGSPO) and Raytheon Australia
* Help manage project risk, budget, schedule and reporting (EACs/PMRs)
* Work with internal teams and external vendors to define and deliver support requirements
* Coordinate Survey & Quote (S&Q) tasking based on customer needs
* Build solid relationships with Defence customers and technical teams
What You Bring
* Excellent communication skills and confidence working with varied stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills and a detail‐oriented approach
* A process‐driven mindset with a willingness to learn project management frameworks
* A collaborative, diplomatic approach to solving problems
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Communications, Business, Project Management or equivalent experience
About
* 5 years' relevant experience (or a strong capability profile suitable for fast development)
* Exposure to complex systems or maintenance programs
* Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) or eagerness to learn it
* A current NV1 or higher security clearance
