This is a unique opportunity to lead the artistic vision of one of the country's most renowned singing festivals. As Artistic Director, you will shape the artistic direction of our premier singing and music festival.
You will work closely with a passionate team and engage with various external stakeholders, including artists, sponsors, and the community. This role offers creative freedom, flexible working conditions, and collaboration with a supportive team in a positive environment.
* Lead the artistic vision and programming of our festival.
* Curate experiences that reflect the spirit of the festival and resonate with diverse audiences.
* Work closely with the Chief Executive to align artistic ambition with operational delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Chief Executive and the team to curate the festival's artistic program.
2. Provide artistic leadership and inspire creative teams to produce new works.
3. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and partners.
4. Manage individual event budgets and apply for grants and funding applications.
Requirements:
* Strong track record in designing and delivering cohesive, high-impact artistic programs.
* Proven experience in leading and inspiring creative teams.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking and media engagement.
* Demonstrated proficiency in managing administrative systems and processes.
