A leading infrastructure services company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join their team.
This role ensures efficient planning, resourcing, work order progression, monitoring, and performance assessment and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan Australian Defence Force (ADF) network maintenance, programmed maintenance, and operational activities
* Record maintenance plans in a Commonwealth Mandated Information System
* Use Commonwealth Mandated Information Systems for work order management, scheduling, parts requisitioning, and management
* Liaise with Defence customers for weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance planning
* Ensure clear communication between the team, Defence members, APS staff, and external industry contacts
* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying initiatives and recommending practices
* Initiate reports and act on non-conformances, implementing corrective actions
* Perform process audits and develop analyses to improve safe work practices
About You:
* You have experience in planning and scheduling mechanical maintenance in a complex industrial environment
* You can maintain accurate records and reports within information management systems
* You have a proactive approach to safety working within a large, diverse team
* You are proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications
* You have strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* You possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
* A trade or tertiary qualification in a mechanical or engineering field is highly desirable
* A tertiary qualification in planning or a related field is highly desirable
* Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable
* You hold a Current Australian class C Driver's Licence
