Part Time (0.7 FTE) - Term Contract - Temporary from 2 September 2025 – 31 October 2025 (working Thursdays AM, with other days negotiable)
About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CAMHS team as a Senior Social Worker, where you will be responsible for :
* Providing expert clinical care to parents, infants, and families experiencing mental health challenges.
* Delivering advanced social work services within a multidisciplinary and interagency team.
* Offering clinical leadership and supervision to social work staff within or across teams.
* Supporting families with complex social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
* Leading service quality and safety improvements aligned with community needs.
* Collaborating with allied health, nursing, medical staff, and leadership to enhance service delivery.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have :
* An appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
* Recognition by the AASW as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
* Ability to work with a high degree of responsibility with limited supervision and direction. Clear communication in both written and verbal forms.
* Demonstrated ability in perinatal and infant mental health assessments and management, with an understanding of complex problems using a biopsychosocial approach.
* Experience in the delivery of perinatal and infant mental assessment.
* Experience in clinical supervision.
