About the role
Reporting to the Team Leader Data Quality, you will play a key role in supporting the Information Management Unit through effective data management, auditing, and quality control. This includes undertaking data cleansing activities, such as investigating, merging, and removing duplicate records to ensure the integrity and accuracy of Council's data systems.
What your day will look like
* Engage with customers across multiple channels, including phone, face-to-face, and electronic communication
* Maintain accurate and up-to‐date customer records with a high level of attention to detail
* Perform routine and ad hoc data maintenance activities
* Manage and update customer information within the Names and Address Register
* Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding customer data updates and data quality matters
What you will bring
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
* Excellent customer service skills, including a professional and confident telephone manner
* Demonstrated experience in customer data management or a similar role
* Experience with TechnologyOne Property and Rating, or comparable systems
* Sound understanding of privacy legislation, data governance, and relevant policies and procedures
* Well‐developed written and verbal communication skills
